Klamath County Fair

We headed back to Klamath Falls for another visit this summer. All of Danny’s siblings were home. They haven’t all been together for quite some time and it was a lot of fun for everyone to be together. His Dad and his wife also came up from San Francisco and took us all to the county fair. Our family and Danny’s sisters family stayed at the Running Y. (thanks Ron and Carol :) It’s a resort in Klamath with golfing, pool, spa, horseback riding, etc. Really nice place. I wish I would have taken pictures of it. So nice, in fact, that I don’t think we’ll be staying with family again! ha,ha. The kids had a ball playing with all their cousins and swimming. What a great time!  I wish I had more pictures to share though.

Okay, this is Danny’s youngest brother and he’s probably going to kill me for putting this picture on my blog. But it is so stinking funny I had to! He just got back from attending school in Germany. Can you tell? Ladies…… he’s single! And yes, this outfit comes with the package!!!!

Sam’s Baptism

Here are some pictures from Sam’s baptism. It was such a special day. Thanks to everyone that helped make it so special. And thanks Jenne, for the awesome pictures!

Family Visit

I’m back! It has been sooooo long since I have posted anything on my blog. I think this summer has been the busiest one we’ve had yet. I just haven’t had any time to spend on the computer. So, unfortunately, now I have a ton to post!

Back on Aug. 1 was Sam’s baptism. Danny’s sister and her family came from Idaho to visit and see Sam be baptized. We hadn’t seen her family for over almost 2 years so it was really nice to have them here. Our kids were so happy to spend time with their cousins. Especially Brynn. She’s not used to having so many girls around to play with. We had so much fun with them. Thanks guys!

We took everyone to Howard Ammon Park. It was about 106 that day. Lets just say, we didn’t stay long!

Riverfront Park

After two days at Silverwood we headed over to Spokane for the day. None of us had ever really been to Spokane before. We spent the day at Riverfront Park. What a beautiful place! It’s a huge park with all kinds of things to do. Train ride, the big red wagon, carnival rides, miniature golf, gondola rides, carrousel, Imax theater. So much fun! After this fun packed weekend even our kids were exhausted!

Silverwood

After the stomach flu going through our family and having to postpone our trip, we finally made it to Silverwood! We had such a blast. Normally our kids aren’t all that in to roller coasters, but since they’re getting older, and more brave, they were able to have so much more fun! All three of the boys went on the big upside down rides. I, of course, am a wimp, so Brynn and I watched from afar. Danny was so thrilled that he finally didn’t have to go on all the rides al0ne. At first Sam was a little hesitant, but I think seeing his older brothers going, he thought he’d be pretty cool if he tried it out too. I wish I could have seen his face when he went down the HUGE drop! The kids said he was screaming the entire time! hee, hee!

One of the rides there is called Panic Plunge. It’s one of those rides where they take you straight up and then drop you. Anyway, Danny wanted to go on it and talked Skyler in to joining him. Here’s some photos.

(huh, maybe this wasn’t such a good idea?)

He was freaking out!

Happy Birthday Brynn!

Brynn July 09Our little girl is 5 today! It’s so hard to believe. Time goes by so fast. This fall she’ll be starting kindergarten :( It makes me want to have another one. Well, not really. But honestly, Brynn is such a blessing. She’s our little princess amid all the boys in the house. Spoiled? I’d say so, but who cares. She deserves it. I just love how different she is from her brothers. How girly she is. How loving and kind. How she always wants her fingernails painted and to play barbie’s. I’ve waited for YEARS to be able to do these things with my own little girl. She’s so much fun. We just love her so much. Happy birthday princess!!!

Brynn’s Birthday Party

Brynn had her “chef birthday party” yesterday. It was so much fun! I think it was more fun for me than for the girls! I’ve waited so long to be able to plan a party for my little girl. I’ve had years of boys parties, but this was Brynn’s first real party with friends. She had four girls over to make pizza, decorate cupcakes, make some dirt cups and play “pin the hat on the chef.” It was a bit messy but so much fun. I ordered some aprons for the girls and had their names embroidered on them. Super cute! Skyler was my helper and took pictures for me and helped the girls roll out their pizza dough. Here are some pictures from our exciting day!
