Our little girl is 5 today! It’s so hard to believe. Time goes by so fast. This fall she’ll be starting kindergarten :( It makes me want to have another one. Well, not really. But honestly, Brynn is such a blessing. She’s our little princess amid all the boys in the house. Spoiled? I’d say so, but who cares. She deserves it. I just love how different she is from her brothers. How girly she is. How loving and kind. How she always wants her fingernails painted and to play barbie’s. I’ve waited for YEARS to be able to do these things with my own little girl. She’s so much fun. We just love her so much. Happy birthday princess!!!

Brynn’s Birthday Party
Brynn had her “chef birthday party” yesterday. It was so much fun! I think it was more fun for me than for the girls! I’ve waited so long to be able to plan a party for my little girl. I’ve had years of boys parties, but this was Brynn’s first real party with friends. She had four girls over to make pizza, decorate cupcakes, make some dirt cups and play “pin the hat on the chef.” It was a bit messy but so much fun. I ordered some aprons for the girls and had their names embroidered on them. Super cute! Skyler was my helper and took pictures for me and helped the girls roll out their pizza dough. Here are some pictures from our exciting day!

No Silverwood this weekend :(
We were supposed to leave for Silverwood yesterday morning, but to keep our lives as predictable as possible, Brynn and I came down with the flu. I got it at the most convenient time, during EFY. Great right, yeah not so much. I was determined though to still leave for Silverwood in the morning. So I got up at 4:40 and Brynn and I took showers. Brynn got as much as putting her underwear on before she threw up all over her bedroom floor. I swear, it seems like every time we have a trip planned someone gets sick. It never fails.
Needless to say the boys were VERY disappointed. So, we thought before the rest of the kids got their “one on one” time with the toilet, Danny should take them for a day of fun. Here are some pictures from Surf and Slide in Moses Lake, WA.

Happy Birthday Sam!
You’re 8 years old today Sam! Being 8 is a special time because you’ll be baptized. We can’t wait for that special day and we want you to know how special you are to us. You are such a smart boy and you bring so much laughter to our home. You can be a bit ornery sometimes, but we still love ya. We wish you a happy birthday and hope you have a terrific day! XOXOXOXO

Sam’s Chuck E. Cheese Party
Sam had his party yesterday at Chuck E. Cheese’s. They had a blast! It was such a great party. Especially for me, since I didn’t have to do anything. No planning entertainment, keeping kids busy and most of all cleaning! We just had to show up. All the kids had so much fun. Here’s a few pictures from our day.

Lost Tooth!
No, not Sam, or even Nick lost their tooth. Our soon to be 5 year old, Brynn lost her first tooth yesterday. The other day she told me that she had a loose tooth and I really didn’t believe her until I wiggled it myself. I couldn’t believe it. She’s so young to be losing teeth already. Our other kids didn’t lose theirs until they were 6 or 7. I hope she doesn’t loose anymore this summer or she’ll be starting kindergarten toothless!
Late night
Last night Skyler spent the night at a friends house and the other kids begged and begged to stay up late. We told them they could stay up until 11:30. Now that’s very late for our kids, so you’d think it would be a real treat for them. Nope! Nick wanted to stay up past 11:30. He said that it wasn’t late enough. So, we sent them up to our room to watch a movie while we stayed downstairs and watched a movie of our own. At 11:00 we went upstairs to bed and found this…….
They must have been asleep for quite awhile since the movie was long over and the screen was fuzzy. Ha,ha!
