Superbowl Champions!

Sam’s football team , the Bears, made it to the SuperBowl this year and just

played their game last night at Lampson Field. We played the Rams and won

13-0!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sam was so excited to play on a high school field. He thought it was the

greatest thing ever. Since this was Sam’s first year in football we didn’t know just

how big of a deal the SuperBowl is. When I arrived there were parents

tailgating in the parking lot! How great is that? It was so cool. What’s even greater

is that one of the Mom’s arranged to have a limo pick up the boys after the game

and take them to pizza. I really think this was one of the most memorable days

Sam has ever had. We’re so proud of him. He did a great job this season! GO BEARS!

              

Trunk or Treat

Here are a couple photos from this years Trunk or Treat. Unfortunately, I only have pictures

of Brynn. Our boys weren’t really in to Halloween this year. Nick and Sam couldn’t decide on

what they wanted to be, so they both ended up dressing up in their football jerseys. Skyler

being 15 now is a bit too old for dressing up. So

he thinks.

Family Photos!

One of my best friends Jenne, is a photographer here in the Tri-Cities and we were

lucky enough to have her take our family photos the other day. I am soooooo

excited! I never get excited about having my picture taken but Jenne did such a

fantastic job. Really, it was so much fun and the best part is, is that she was able

to capture our family at this moment so we can forever more look back upon this

time. Jenne, I cannot thank you enough.

I’m so excited because it’s just about time for school pictures and Brynn lost her two front teeth just in time! I LOVE how cute kids look without their front teeth!!!!!!!!!!

Back to School!

 

Yesterday was the kids first day back to school. The past few weeks I’ve been excited for them to get back to having a schedule again. I like routine. School, homework, chores, sports. During the summer all those things fly out the window and it’s just plain chaos.

For several years now I’ve been fantasizing about this day, when all my kids would be in school full time. I thought about how great it would be to have the whole day to myself. To be able to do whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted to do it. It’s funny how life works though. For nearly the past 15 years I have built my whole life around my kids and now they are all in school, growing up way too fast and I’m still here trying to figure out where all the time went. Not only that, I can’t believe I’m going to say this, but I miss them. It’s really not fair. They spend so much time driving me absolutely crazy but when the time comes for them to go off to school, I wish they were here! What’s that about??

Needless to say I spent most of the day crying. I really didn’t expect this. I think it’s going to take some time to get used to. Hopefully not that much time. I have learned a huge lesson though. All of those smart people out there who tell you to cherish all the time you have with your kids when they’re little. They weren’t kidding!
