Sam's First Game!

Sam had his first basketball game this last Saturday. He played so well. His best friend Ayden is on his team and any time Sam had the ball he would only pass it to him. Even if there were other kids that were clearly open, he would pass it to Ayden anyway. We had to laugh. It was really funny. He scored a few shots for his team and he really liked being on defense. He wasn't about to let anyone get past him!

Just a super cute picture of Brynn!

Nick's First Basketball Game!

Nick had his first game of the season this afternoon. They played at Skyler's school, which was nice. We're used to playing in Klamath where schools don't even have bleachers. So it was great to be able to have somewhere to sit. (we should always be greatful for the little things, hee, hee!) Anyway, for as small as Nick is he makes up for his height with aggression. He can go after that ball! He's fun to watch. Brynn was our cheerleader. She would shout, "Go Nick, touchdown!" (apparently she only knows football) It was so funny!

Tidy Up!

Happy Saturday! It seems like I haven't blogged forever! There were so many things to take pictures of and blog about with the holidays and now that they're over, I guess I've taken a bit of a break. We have spent this morning cleaning up. And of course our kids are just too excited! They absolutely LOVE to clean! I so wish that were true. Nick has always been our helpful child and I can officially say that that is no longer the case. I asked him to vacuum the stairs this morning and lets just say it didn't go over as planned. So, not only did he vacuum the stairs but the entire upstairs and all the rooms as well. I don't think he'll be complaining anymore. Sam has become the old Nick. He actually thought it was fun. He vacummed out the couches and used a magic eraser to get all the marks off the walls and thought it was great! Yeah! At least I still have him and Brynn that think it's so much fun to clean. Skyler on the other hand is old enough to know it's not fun, but it's not worth the fight. So he does it without complaint. Usually.

As you can see, our life is so exciting. Don't you wish we could all be this happy while we cleaned. (the song, I mean) Have fun tidying up your homes today!

A couple weekends ago Danny took our family to Yakima, WA where they have this elk and big horn sheep feeding area. As most everyone knows, I am not what you'd call an amimal lover but this was right up Danny's alley, so I went. I have to say this place was so cool! There was at least a few hundred elk that you could almost touch they were so close. Each day they have a feeding time where you can go and see them being fed. If you sign up early enough you can even go with the guy in the truck that feeds them. Very cool!

Santa was here!

I love Christmas! It's so much fun to watch our kids open all their gifts and see their expressions when they see what they've gotten. I think this year has been one of the best for that. All the kids seemed so happy about everything they got. Even Nick was thrilled when he opened the book "How to talk to Girls." It was too funny!
