Spring Break
This past Friday we took a trip back to Klamath Falls so our boys could spend their spring break with their Grandparents. We got to my mom's Friday afternoon where their cousin Alayna was waiting for Brynn to arrive. They haven't seen eachother in such a long time they couldn't wait to play. At least they had the afternoon together because that evening Brynn got a fever and was up that night throwing up. Saturday was her other cousin Indie's 5th birthday and Brynn was so upset that she wasn't going to be able to play with her at her party. She laid around all day but after getting her dose of Motrin she would be okay for about an hour. Long enough for her to have some fun with her cousin. On our way home Sunday she threw up in the car. (I love when our kids do that) And when we got to Madras, Grandma Carol called to tell us that Nick was sick. I guess we should have known. So then came Monday when I got a call from my mom that Skyler had fallen at the skateboard park and hurt his arm. I didn't believe her of course, because every time Skyler goes anywhere he calls and tries to convince me that he's broken something. Well, she wasn't kidding. She took him to the emergency room where they got an X-ray to prove it. He is going to see an orthopedic surgeon today to have a cast put on. Great start to our spring break ha? I wonder what tomorrow will bring?

Brynn's in love!

I just went and picked up Brynn from preschool and when we came in the house, she said, "Mom, you know what? I'm in love with Jackson." I said, "what does that mean?" and she said, "I don't know, but I'm in love with him." It was sooo funny! For those of you who don't know Jackson Glade, he is a boy that is in Brynn's class and we also go to church with him and his family. Lately, Brynn has been fascinated with having boyfriends and getting married. We've even caught her kissing the railing of our staircase pretending it's her "boyfriend". I don't know if I should laugh or be worried! Watch out Jackson!

Skyler has Officially Outgrown his Parents!
Tonight we were having family prayer and when I went to leave Brynn's room I stood next to Skyler and noticed that he was taller than me. I just took him to the Dr. a few weeks ago when he had the flu and he measured 5 ft. 6 in. That's my height. Now today he's already grown some more. I then had him stand back to back with Danny and he's passed him up too. Not that that's much. Danny's only a 1/2 in. taller than me, but still. Skyler is now 5 ft. 7 in. and growing by the second. I had to post it on my blog so I could look back one day and see the day he outgrew me!

Rocky, Day 2
I took Nick to the Dr. yesterday to make sure he didn't do any real damage to his face besides the change of color. We were sent to have an X-ray, but by the time we got out of there it was after 5:00, so we haven't gotten the results back yet. The Dr. thought that he could have a couple small fractures but it's probably just a soft tissue injury. Anway, here he is this morning. Doesn't he look so happy in these pictures!

Trip to the Dentist....

So last Wednesday all my kids had dentist appointments to have their teeth cleaned. I picked up the boys from school and headed over to the office and sat in the waiting room while each kid had their turn. There were two other people waiting to see the Dr. and naturally it was very quiet in there. While Brynn was having her teeth cleaned, Sam got up from his chair and came over and stood between me and another woman. I was looking at a magazine and glanced over to Sam and he had a weird expression on his face. I could tell from the look that he was straining for some reason. (yeah, that should have been my first clue) All of a sudden he lets out a "toot" and looks over at me and says, "Nice Mom, geez!" and walks away. I couldn't believe it. I wanted to just die laughing but was so embarrassed thinking this lady next to me probably thinks I did it! Talk about embarrassing! Sam always surprises me with the amount of thought he puts in to doing something or not doing it. Even if I ask him to throw something away, he'll go upstairs and hide it in his drawer instead of just simply putting it in the garbage. He totally planned out coming over and standing next to me just so he could toot and no one know it was him. Hysterical!
